Mike McCain's Biography

Mike McCainMike played varsity baseball for 3 years @ Edmonds High School and varsity basketball for 2 years. He was voted to ALL-Conference and ALL-State in Baseball. The New York Mets drafted Mike in the 26th round out of high school, but, he chose to go to college at Arizona State University where he was awarded a scholarship.

At ASU, he was a member of the 1981 College World Series Champions. He was drafted in the 16th round by the Minnesota Twins and played 5 years in their farm system reaching AAA level. Mike has coached at the collegiate level for Arizona State and has coached 4 years of Semi-pro baseball with the West Seattle Cruisers ( AKA: The Seattle Studds).  In Addition, he has coached with the Boys of Summer Baseball Program for the last 9 years and currently teaches hitting at his facility.
