About The Old Ballyard Baseball / Softball Facility
The Old Ballyard Baseball / Softball Facility is a full service year-round baseball training facility located in Bellevue, WA. Mike McCain opened his indoor training facility in the fall of 2002 following his professional baseball career. One of the The Oldballyard's primary goals has always been to provide the best in professional hitting, pitching, and catching instruction. We have compiled a year-round staff of some of the finest skill coaches in the area. We offer private, semi-private, small group and team instruction to players of all ages and abilities. The Old Ballyard Baseball Facility also offers seasonal clinics, summer baseball camps, and working with our local Non-Profit Baseball club, The Boys of Summer located in Bellevue, WA.
In addition to The Old Ballyard’s instructional programs, we provide individuals and teams with a facility where they can practice their hitting and pitching skills. The Old Ballyard is a Private facility but, the training facility that can be rented by teams. We also offer a cost effective hitting programs that is perfect for individuals who use our batting cages often.
Our goal moving forward, will be to continue to offer the best in baseball instruction for players of all levels, while also providing a first class training facility for individuals and teams.
Mike McCain has been the co-founder and board member since 1999 of The Boys of Summer Baseball Club. The Club is a Non-Profit organization committed to the establishment of an eastside select baseball program for boys 13 to 18 years old. The ultimate goal of the organization is to provide the team members with the very best baseball experience possible, which will take each player to the next level - through high school, and hopefully for many to a college baseball career. In addition to the Boys of Summer / Stampede Programs. Our new pitching coach will be 12 year major league veteran Dan Spillner, along with new strength and conditioning Coach Ben Blackstone. Our hitting coach will continue to be the BEST. Mike McCain for the Stampeded Program. The new head coach of the U14'swill be Brett Grandstrand from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays organization. We look forward to moving to the next level.
